Founded in 2012, the Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Hyderabad, has emerged as a global leader in medical education, healthcare, and research. The institution provides comprehensive and holistic training through eminent faculty, ensuring that its students consistently outperform their peers. In its decennial year, AIMSR received accolades from its alumni—many of whom are now pursuing post-graduation in premier institutions—who proudly acknowledge the institution’s contribution to their growth and success.

Academic Excellence and Programs

AIMSR aims to create future medical leaders with competency and ethics by offering:

Students are encouraged to seek mentors for their Short-Term Studentship (STS) programs under ICMR grants.

AIMSR attracts both national and international research grants, including funding from government agencies like ICMR and DST, as well as international tech giants. The institute also collaborates with international partners, who send their students to AIMSR for experiential learning.

Apollo Institute of Medical Science and Research – Chittoor

Apollo Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (AIMSR), Chittoor, was established in September 2015 at the Apollo Knowledge City, Chittoor. The institute is built on a 108-acre campus with ultra-modern teaching facilities.

The institution signed an MoU with the state government to operate and augment the capacity of District Headquarters Hospital Chittoor to National Medical Council standards. The hospital was upgraded to an 850-bed facility that now includes modern facilities such as ICUs, emergency rooms, and diagnostic labs of international standards. Such a facility enables students of AIMSR to gain vital hands-on experience. The hospital covers over 21 disciplines of medical and surgical specialties.

AIMSR Chittoor is committed to developing skilled, ethical medical professionals through:

  • A robust MBBS program designed to meet National Medical Council standards.
  • Comprehensive clinical training integrated with classroom learning, delivered by expert faculty.
