Position Overview:

As a Consultant/Counsellor, you will guide and mentor students in making informed decisions about their overseas education journey. You will manage the complete process from enquiry to enrolment, ensuring students and parents receive personalised, high-quality service.

Key Duties / Accountabilities:

Conduct detailed counselling sessions with students and parents regarding course, university, and country options.

  • Manage the end-to-end admissions process including application, documentation, and visa support.
  • Follow up with leads generated by telecallers and convert them into enrolments.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of overseas education trends, admission requirements, and visa regulations.
  • Participate in seminars, webinars, and promotional events to engage prospective students.

Essential Qualifications & Critical Experiences:

  • 4–7 years of counselling experience in Overseas Education, preferably multi-destination (USA, UK, Canada, Australia or NZ).                               
  • Demonstrated ability to convert 50–70 students/year.
  • Strong understanding of admission requirements, visa processes, and scholarships.
  • Able to handle both walk-in and digital/tele-leads confidently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build trust with students and parents.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of regional languages is a plus

We are launching an ambitious Study Abroad business and aim to become the preferred partner for students in South India. As Regional Manager, you will be the growth driver in your territory – building partnerships, leading a team of counsellors, driving enrolments, and delivering exceptional student experiences.

 

Key Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Own the regional student acquisition target for Jan & July intakes.
  • Build and nurture relationships with schools, colleges, coaching centres, and channel partners.
  • Lead, coach, and motivate counsellors in your region to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Represent the company at education fairs, seminars, and networking events.
  • Monitor competitor activities and share market insights with the leadership team.
  • Ensure high standards of counselling, application processing, and visa support.

Essential Qualifications & Critical Experiences:

  • 8–12 years of total experience with minimum 4 – 5 years in the Overseas Education, OR student recruitment for universities abroad, preferably with regional territory ownership.
  • Proven track record in meeting enrollment targets (200+ students/year for their region would be strong)
  • Strong network with educational institutions and local influencers in the region.
  • Exposure to both student recruitment and institutional partnerships (schools, colleges, coaching centers).
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region.

We are building a dynamic telecalling team to fuel our growth in the study abroad space. As a Telecaller, you will be the first point of contact for prospective students, creating interest, qualifying leads, and scheduling counselling appointments.

 

Key Duties / Accountabilities:

  • Make outbound calls to leads generated through marketing campaigns, events, and referrals.
  • Engage with students and parents to understand their aspirations and eligibility.
  • Book appointments for counsellors and follow up until the meeting is attended.
  • Maintain and update CRM records accurately.
  • Achieve daily/weekly call volume and appointment targets.

Essential Qualifications & Critical Experiences:

  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, telecalling, or lead qualification — ideally in education, edtech, test prep, or financial services.
  • Comfortable making 80–100 calls/day with follow-up discipline.
  • Track record of converting cold leads to qualified counselling appointments.
  • Strong communication in English + at least one South Indian language (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam) for regional connect.
  • 0–3 years of experience in telecalling, inside sales, or customer engagement (BPO/EdTech preferred).
  • Ability to engage and persuade over the phone.
  • Basic computer literacy and CRM usage skills.
