Nursing professionals who want to be placed in the UK undergo three phases: onboarding, training and visa, and deployment.

  1. Apollo Knowledge’s group entity, GWD (Global Workforce Development), screens applicants. Once an applicant clears the pre-assessment tests, the documents are collected. The applicant then receives English language training (OET/IELTS), and once the applicant clears the English language test, the NMC application process starts.
  2. Once the applicant clears CBT, the applicant would clear the NHS interview to get the offer letter. Then, after some compliance documentation and getting a certificate of sponsorship from NHS, the candidate should apply for a skilled worker visa and travel to the UK.
  3. In the UK, the person would start working as a Band 3/4 nurse. Once the nurse clears the OSCE exam, the nurse can get the NMC registration as a PIN nurse to start working as a Band 5 RGN.
